Marketware Adds Ability to Add Files to Activities
We’re excited to announce that we’ve expanded our options for activities to now have the ability to store and view relevant files within each activity. Now, everyone has all the information and documents they may need when interacting with and completing activities.
Previously, the only way to add files to an activity was to add a hyperlink to a file in an activity description or comment. So this feature cuts out the need to use another platform to store and link files from — keeping everything in one place.
How Files on Activities Works
Uploading & Adding Files
Once an activity has been created, you will have the option to “Add/Edit Files” while viewing that activity’s details.

From here, you will have the option to upload files by dragging and dropping them from your computer, or by selecting them from a file manager by clicking the “Add File” button. As files are added to the activity, you’ll be able to access and download them from the list in this area.

Along with the options to preview, download, or delete each file, you will also be able to control who has access to interact with each file added to activities with the “Edit Access” option.

Viewing Files
Once a file has been added to an activity, you’ll be able to see and download it from on the from the activity’s details. If a file’s access has been restricted, other users will be able to hover over the file to see who they should contact if they need to request access to it.
