Protect Sensitive Files in Recruit & Onboard Platform

We’re excited to introduce a new feature to our Recruit and Onboard platforms. This will allow users to edit access to files that have been imported into people records ensuring you protect sensitive files. Until now, all account users would have access to every file imported into Marketware. However, with this new feature you can have more control over who is able to interact with certain files so you can feel confident in storing important, relevant files in the system.

How Edit Access Works

Restrict Access to Files & Assign Access to Other Users

Once a file has been imported into a person record, the importer of the file (or account administrators) will be able to restrict access to themselves and give access to other users from the file’s “Edit Access” option.

Once given access, assigned users will be able to preview, download and (if applicable) CV parse the restricted file.

Users who haven’t been given access to a file will not be able to interact with any of the file options. However, they will be able to see that the file is locked when viewing the files list and who to contact if they need to request access to it.

After you’ve restricted access to a file, you will always be able to go back into the file access settings to add or remove user access if needed. So you can always ensure the right people have the access they need to complete their work.
