Providers can be moved from project to project to pick up changes, participate in a new group or activity, or maintain their efforts.
Permissions & Restrictions
Permissions
All Users: If you are assigned to the provider, you can move the provider. If you do not have access to edit the provider, you can’t move the provider.
Important Information
When moving a provider, all completed activities and progress will be carried through. If the provider is being moved to a project that has an updated or revised template (not a new template) the system will try to update and remap activities with the respective project groups. If project groups cannot be mapped, any unmapped activities will carry over and act as ad hoc activities.
If any of the provider’s incomplete activities are removed or do not exist in the new project, they will be deleted once the provider has been moved.
Move a Provider from Project to Project
Move a provider from project to project when you want that provider to pick up recent changes, a new project group or activity has been added or to maintain the efforts of completed providers in the project.
- Select the ellipses on the provider card.
- Choose Move Provider.
- Choose a new project to move the provider.
- A confirmation prompt will pop up.
- Click Move.
- The System
The system will begin moving the provider to the new project.
Once the move is completed the new project will open in a separate browser tab. The provider’s activities will be updated according to what has been added to the new project.
