Access deleted people & place records in the list grid to reactivate a record.

Permissions & Restrictions

Permissions

All Users: Can toggle to view deleted records on people and place list grids.

Admins & Full Users: Are the only users that can undelete a person or place profile.

Term Definitions

Soft Delete: Where the system maintains the record behind the scenes but allows the application to access this record.

Hard Delete: Where the record is permanently deleted from the system.

Deleted Records: Records removed from the system, whether hidden (soft deleted) or gone forever (hard delete).

Restrictions or Pre-Requisites

While some deleted records can be viewed, they cannot be edited until un-deleted. People and place records are the only soft deleted records. All other records in the system are hard deleted.

Deleted records are not shown in the people and place lists by default. These records are not considered on the initial loading of list grids or searching records.

Deleted records are only viewable in the list grids if the toggle is turned on; these cannot be searched in form fields i.e., you cannot add a deleted person or place to an activity, issue, initiative, practice opportunity, onboard project, etc.

View Deleted Records

Deleted records are available to view on both people and place list grids. This option is accessible via the quick list option to the left of the list grid.

Any deleted record in the list grid will have a red indicator, showing which records are deleted.

Recover a Deleted Record

Deleted records can still be clicked into, though all editing will be disabled until the record is undeleted.

Deleted records will indicate in the header that they are deleted.

Undeleting a record is managed from the ellipses on the right-hand side of the header. Undeleting a record will remove the deleted icon, enable edits on the profile and the record will be shown in the list grid by default.
